Returns and Refunds Policy

1. Introduction

At https://videosecurity.store/, operated by Pawel Piasecki, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction while respecting and upholding your legal rights as a consumer. This Returns and Refunds Policy is established in accordance with:

  • Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, of November 16, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users;
  • Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on Consumer Rights;
  • Ley 34/2002, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

2. Return Eligibility

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase and return products under the following conditions:

  • The return request is submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, in accordance with Article 71 of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007.
  • The product must be in new, unused, and undamaged condition, and returned in its original packaging, including all accessories and manuals.
  • You must provide proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt.
  • Products that have been personalized, custom-made, or sold as final clearance are generally non-returnable unless they are defective (Article 103.c and e).

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Wait for our return authorization and instructions before shipping the item.
  3. Unless the item is defective or the return is due to our error, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility (Article 108.1).

4. Refund Policy

  • Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will process the refund within 14 calendar days, as required by Article 76 of the Spanish Consumer Law.
  • Refunds will be made using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the product was defective or incorrectly shipped (Article 107.2).

5. Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or does not match your order:

  • You must notify us within two months of becoming aware of the defect, in accordance with Article 123 of the Consumer Law.
  • We will cover all associated shipping costs and offer either a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate.
  • All products are covered by a minimum 2-year legal warranty under Spanish and EU law (Articles 114–124).

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following types of products cannot be returned unless they are faulty or non-conforming:

  • Digital downloads or opened software (Article 103.m)
  • Perishable goods or those with a short shelf life
  • Personalized, custom-made, or clearly tailored items (Article 103.c)
